The Human Rights and Equity Office (HREO) is a confidential, inclusive, and supportive resource for all Brock community members. HREO provides support for issues related to human rights and equity, including incidents of sexual violence, racism, ableism, religious bigotry, and discrimination or harassment on any of the protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code. When you contact HREO, you are not committing to any specific course of action, nor will you be pressured into making a decision. HREO serves as a sounding board for concerns, provides education on equity and inclusion, and works with many departments and services across campus to help prevent harassment and discrimination, while responding to incidents as they arise.
