Behind the blooms
Horticultural Technician Luke Kwiatkowski deadheads canna lilies outside Brock University's Schmon Tower. Removing spent blooms encourages the plants to keep flowering throughout the summer. Brock's Grounds Services team maintains more than 162 hectares (400 acres) of campus, from manicured gardens and courtyards to the natural beauty of the Niagara Escarpment.
