Brock University students in need of legal support can turn to a clinic that will provide guidance at no cost.
Offered by the Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) in partnership with the Niagara Community Legal Clinic (NCLC), the free legal clinic has become an in-demand service since launching three years ago.
“Legal issues can arise unexpectedly, and students can find themselves in new and challenging situations that require professional guidance and support,” said Carleigh Charlton, BUSU Vice-President, University Affairs. “This partnership with the NCLC has helped many students over the last three years, and we certainly recognized the need to continue this service to students.”
Sessions are all virtual, offering convenient, accessible support for all students. Brock students looking for advice on issues such as tenant and housing rights, employment law and human rights law are encouraged to book a free appointment through the BUSU website.
NCLC is a non-profit community legal clinic that provides legal services to residents of the Niagara region.
