Award nominations open for exceptional co-op and experiential education students

The deadline is quickly approaching to honour students for their Experiential and Co-op Education achievements.

Each year, students in every Brock Faculty take part in more than 1,000 experiential opportunities that strengthen their academic and industry knowledge while assisting local partners, and hundreds more gain real-world career experience through co-op work terms.

To celebrate these efforts, applications are now open for Brock’s Experiential Education and Co-op Student of the Year awards.

To qualify, students must fill out an application package, available online, by Monday, Dec. 13, including a personal and professional profile and evidence of how they helped their host organization or community partner.

Once submitted, the applications are adjudicated by a neutral committee consisting of the Director of Co-op, Career and Experiential Education (CCEE), a Brock University faculty member, a member of senior administration and a campus partner, as well as representation from across CCEE.

Students are limited to one submission per year and must agree to allow Co-op, Career and Experiential Education to use their name, application package and photograph for publication and promotional purposes.

Links for both the Co-op and Experiential awards can be found on the CCEE website.
