Partnerships 101: the advantages of collaborative research

Date: Thursday October 24, 2024
Time:  Workshop: 11:30 am-12 pm
              Drop-in: 12-1 pm
Location: Rankin Family Pavilion, Room 216

Research partnerships have the potential to expand the scope of your research, bring in additional funding, and result in real-world impact. Partnerships come in many different forms: they can include partners from different sectors (e.g. private, non-profit, municipal, hospitals); range from one student to multiple research groups, institutions, and partners; and vary widely in duration.

Join Brock LINC’s Research Partnerships Officer, Cait Sande for a 30 min workshop where we’ll focus primarily on industry partnerships, but our discussions on how to find partners, the funding available, and best practices for maintaining these relationships will be broadly applicable to working with many organizations.

The workshop will be followed by a drop-in session; we’d love to hear about your project and answer any questions you may have while enjoying a complimentary lunch.

Please register by Monday October 21, 2024.

For Graduate Students looking to attend, please email Cait Sande, Research Partnerships Officer Brock LINC, csande@brocku.ca.
