Steve Lidstone

Associate Director of Performance

Steve Lidstone is the Associate Director of Performance at Brock University and is the former Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at York University (2004- 2007) and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator/Lecturer at McMaster University (2007-2016) Steve is a Strength & Conditioning Consultant with Hockey Canada’s NWT 2005-Present and also consults with various Canadian National Teams (Basketball, Bobsleigh, Wrestling and Waterski Canada). Steve has been a sessional instructor at Sheridan College, McMaster University and Redeemer University and presents at various conferences annually. Steve resides in St Davids (NOTL) with his wife Kristy and their 3 amazing children. Steve is proud to call Niagara home and has now focused his passion for athletic development on youth, varsity, next gen and professional athletes in the Greater Niagara Region.

Dr. Katie Dalziel

Physician

Dr. Katie Dalziel completed her medical training at Queen’s University in 2015 and went on to complete her Family Medicine Residency at McMaster (Niagara campus) in 2017. Following this, she completed a fellowship in Sports and Exercise Medicine through McMaster University under the guidance of Dr. David Levy and Dr. Wade Elliott.

Dr. Dalziel’s practice is focused on musculoskeletal medicine in athletes of all ages and levels which has afforded several opportunities for on field coverage. Most recently Dr. Dalziel travelled with the Canadian Men’s and Women’s Ball Hockey teams to their World Championships in Russia. Previously, she has covered events including the UCI Track Cycling World Cup, McMaster Wrestling Invitational and OFSAA Football Championships. She also had the pleasure of providing coverage for both the men’s and women’s rugby teams at McMaster for their 2017 seasons. She is looking forward to working with the Brock Badgers in their upcoming varsity season as well as providing coverage for local Niagara events. As a former varsity soccer athlete at Queen’s, Dr. Dalziel continues to enjoy an active lifestyle in the Niagara area that includes hiking, soccer and volleyball.
