Carolyn Crysdale is an Assistant Professor and is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (Doctoral Level) and researcher specializing in early language and social communication development in autistic children. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Endicott College’s Institute for Applied Behavioural Science. Dr. Crysdale’s research bridges developmental psychology and applied behaviour analysis, focusing on caregiver-mediated interventions and joint attention. Dr. Crysdale’s work has been recognized with the Excellence in Research Award from Endicott College and the Jack Gewirtz Award from the Developmental Behaviour Special Interest Group. Clinically, she has over sixteen years of experience providing behaviour analytic services in schools, home settings, and clinics. She has also successfully supervised many BCBA© candidates through their practicum and fieldwork experiences, mostly in the area of early intervention services. Dr. Crysdale’s research interests are in the areas of: contingent vocal imitation, caregiver responses to young autistic children, infant behaviour interventions and joint attention.
