Game Studies (Graduate Diploma)

The course-based, interdisciplinary Graduate Diploma in Game Studies was developed to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of game studies and design. With a special focus on games for education, health and persuasion, the diploma program explores how principles of game studies and design can be used in non-gaming fields such as education, public policy and healthcare.

Comprised of six courses, the program can be completed in 3 terms (1 year). It is designed for students from a wide variety of backgrounds, including recent university graduates and mid-career professionals. Successful students have the opportunity to transfer into the MA Game Design Program, with permission from the Graduate Program Director.
