Come explore the minds of Brock University’s 2022 VISA 2F05 (Introduction to Sculpture) Visual Arts students in their upcoming exhibition, UNDEFINED.

Join us on June 24th for the Exhibition Launch from 1-4 p.m. at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine & Performing Arts (MIWSFPA) where we will meet with the exhibiting student and emerging artists and explore their work on the power and sculptural impact of UNDEFINED.

The featured artists (listed below) have spent the Spring Term honing their skills in process-based sculpture – challenging the boundaries of their creative abilities to curate a uniquely engaging exhibition. Each sculptural work has been inspired by and crafted through in-class projects such as Fabrication & Scale, Assemblage/Process, Positive/Negative, and Soft Sculpture.

With an intentional emphasis on “process”, the connection between making and ingenuity come alive through the unveiling of this sculptural body of work. Navigating diverse materials such as Cardboard, Clay, Silicone, Plaster, Soapstone, Wood, Metal, Lighting and much more, these works offer a sense of variety and creative prowess for each student to have explored.

Please join us for our opening reception with refreshments and snacks served just outside the main entrance of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, before visiting the show.
