Forbes has named Brock one of Canada’s Best Employers for Company Culture 2026, ranking the University 81 out of 200 organizations highlighted for their exceptional performance in cultivating strong and positive workplace environments.
Brock was named to the inaugural Forbes list in 2025. Earlier this year, the University was also named one of Hamilton-Niagara’s Top Employers for the eighth time.
“Our workplace culture is shaped by the remarkable employees who make Brock what it is through their collaboration, kindness, dedication and commitment to one another and to Brock’s mission,” says Chief Human Resources Officer and Associate Vice-President of People and Culture Jennifer Guarasci. “This recognition is something every team member can take pride in because they have helped create and foster the atmosphere that earned it.”
Announced Wednesday, July 15, the list compiled by Forbes and research firm Statista honours organizations across all sectors.
According to the global media company, Canada’s Best Employers for Company Culture 2026 were identified through an independent survey of more than 37,000 employees working for organizations with at least 500 employees in Canada. The final rankings were determined based on direct employee evaluations, public evaluations and company culture related key performance indicators.
Guarasci notes that the recognition underscores the values employees demonstrate every day.
“Across every Faculty and department, our employees bring a strong sense of purpose to their work and understand how their contributions help Brock to succeed,” she says.
