Jayne Morrish has been elected to Brock University’s Board of Trustees as a representative of ongoing staff.

Morrish, Manager of Research Impact in the Office of Vice-President, Research, will serve a three-year term from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029, and joins continuing staff member Pauline Dawson, Director of Admissions in the Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Services.

The Board extended its gratitude to outgoing representative Laura Lane, Associate Director of Learning Services with Student Life and Success, for her dedicated service.

A special thanks was also extended to all who allowed their names to stand for election.

Four individuals ran in the election, which closed May 22, and 615 ballots were returned.

The Board of Trustees recognizes the importance of having staff representation on the Board and staff engagement in the process, both from those who stood in the election and those who voted.
