Local business community to gather for unique networking event

A mash-up of two popular networking opportunities — the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce’s (GNCC) Business After 5 event and Brock’s LINC Up! event — is coming to Brock University next month.

Taking place Tuesday, Feb. 4, the free event will give attendees the opportunity to network with entrepreneurs, members of Niagara’s innovation ecosystem, researchers, GNCC members, and local business owners from the Brock and Niagara communities.

Attendees will also have an opportunity engage with representatives from various Brock departments, including Co-op, Career and Experiential Education, Professional and Continuing Studies, Goodman Group, Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute, and the Brock-Niagara Validation, Prototyping and Manufacturing Institute.

The event will feature prizes donated by GNCC members, light refreshments and a complimentary bar. Parking will be complimentary for attendees and details will be provided following registration.

The Business After 5/LINC Up! event will take place on Feb. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Upper Deck on level 300 of the Rankin Family Pavilion. Registration is required to attend. As Brock is a member of the GNCC, faculty, staff and students are able to register as members when signing up to attend the event.
