The Brock community is invited to attend virtual presentations for three shortlisted candidates seeking the role of University Librarian.
The process to search for Brock’s next University Librarian was launched in the fall and is proceeding under the Policy on the Appointment of Academic Administrators. The Advisory Committee has interviewed a long list of candidates and agreed upon a short list.
Candidates will be visiting Brock next week. This round of interviews will include opportunities for engagement, as well as public presentations.
All members of the Brock community are invited to join each of the candidates for their public presentations online, with details listed below:
- Nicole Nolan — Monday, Feb. 12 from 9 to 10 a.m.
- Alan Karass — Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 9 to 10 a.m.
- Kim Nayyer — Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 9 to 10 a.m.
Presentations will be 20 to 30 minutes long, with the remaining time reserved for questions from members of the University community.
The candidates’ CVs are also made available to members of the Brock community through SharePoint, where recordings of the presentations will also be made available.
Further information about accessing the recordings will be communicated once the presentations are complete.
Comments on the public presentations will be welcome by email to provost@brocku.ca until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 1.
Any questions or comments about the search process can be sent to provost@brocku.ca
