Reminder: Changes to Designated Smoking Areas take effect June 1

Brock’s Health, Safety and Wellness team reminds the community that changes are coming to Designated Smoking Areas (DSA) at Brock facilities starting on Thursday, June 1.

Three of the six DSAs on Brock’s main campus will be permanently closed along with the DSA at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts.

Members of the Brock community can continue to use the following main campus DSAs:

  • behind DeCew Residence Dining Hall at Residence Road
  • parking lot K between Gordon and Betty Vallee Residence and Alan Earp Residence
  • behind Arnie Lowenberger Residence

While smoking or vaping tobacco is allowed in DSAs, smoking or vaping cannabis anywhere on campus is prohibited.
