Thesis defences Dec. 5 to Dec. 9

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place from Monday, Dec. 5 to Friday, Dec. 9. 

Master of Education thesis defences 

Kendra Marotta, a Master of Education candidate, will defend the thesis “The Transition from Elementary to Secondary School: Lived Experiences of Grade 9 Students” on Monday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. via Lifesize. Attendance capacity is limited. Please register to express interest in attending 

The examination committee includes Catherine Hands, Chair; Angela Evans, External Examiner (Brock University); Sandra Bosacki, Supervisor; and Michael Savage and Ann Marie DiBiase, Committee Members. 

Christina De Silva, Master of Education candidate, will defend the thesis “Junior Teachers’ and Students’ Perspectives of Culturally Responsive Pedagogy through Texts, Technology and Collaboration” on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. via Lifesize. Attendance capacity is limited. Please register to express interest in attending

Master of Science in Management (marketing stream) thesis defence 

Md. Zillur Rahman Siddique, a Master of Science in Management candidate, will defend the thesis “Consumer Response to Proactive and Reactive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Contributions in the Environmental and Social Domains” on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at noon in a virtual format.
