Brock University’s Sakai learning management system will be updated with a new version this holiday weekend.

Scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, the Sakai 12 update is expected to be complete by mid-afternoon. Isaak-Sakai will be unavailable during this time.

The update brings some tidying to the interface, a better mobile experience, automatic favouriting for new sites and speed improvements to many Sakai tools. The full list of changes and features can be accessed in Sakai 12 update notes.

Faculty and staff interested in learning more about the updates are invited to one of two guided presentations of the changes on Aug. 23 and Aug. 30.
