Brock University’s cultural diversity will once again be showcased during the Celebration of Nations.

The annual event, which is scheduled for March 6, highlights international students’ rich traditions and cultures in a market-like atmosphere.

“We would like to encourage students from all countries to come represent your culture, history, people, music, costume, food – all the beautiful things of your homeland,” said Arthur Chen, manager of International Student Services.

There will be table exhibits with colourful displays, food and music performances.

There will be a display board and a table for each country, and International Student Services will cover some of the cost for display materials and can also help with display board design.

Interested students are asked to submit a participation form. More information can be found online.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Pond Inlet.

Brock has over 1900 international students from over 85 countries.
