English Language and Literature professor Elizabeth Sauer is among 90 fellows elected this year to the Royal Society of Canada. One of the country’s foremost scholars of John Milton and 17th-century literature, Sauer earlier this year published “Milton, Toleration and Nationhood“. Canada’s top academic body has elected Canada Research Chair in Multiliteracies Jennifer Rowsell to its inaugural College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. Rowsell will now be able to share her research and connect with others doing similar work on a national scale as one of the newest members of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC).
