The Market bookings can be made by a Brock University Faculty or academic or administrative department with the support of a Senior Administrative Council member. Events must be for attendees that are primarily invited and confirmed. The Market is booked on a “first come, first serve” basis and each booking must be approved by Conference and Event Services prior to the commencement of event planning.
Please note that we will not be booking any events in to the Market Hall during the exam period.
No more than 1/3 of Market Hall will be booked for an event between Monday and Friday during the Fall and Winter academic terms when using the existing furniture. There is some, although limited flexibility of space on weekends.
No private events may be held from Monday -Friday (September to April) unless otherwise approved. Weekday events should be open to ALL students, staff, and faculty.
Market Hall is a public space for the entire University and absolutely no soliciting is permitted outside of Brock University services.
All bookings must be made at least 20 business days in advance by using the online request form. Please allow up to 3 business days for the booking to be processed.
Exceptions to this procedure can be approved by the Associate Vice-President, Ancillary Services.
