The Global Transitions program provided seven students with the opportunity to spend the Fall semester overseas and “enhanced their university experience by volunteering alongside the Ghanaian people,” said Dan Portanova, Global Transitions assistant.
This year’s edition if International Development Week, which runs from Feb. 4 to 8, has activities to appeal to all senses, including an exhibit of Haitian artist Jean-Salomon Andre’s work, drumming workshops, opportunities to assess one’s international IQ and cooking demonstrations.
