Materials Physics ISP (MSc)

The Master of Science in Material Physics International Student Program (ISP) provides intensive hands-on graduate training in advanced experimental, theoretical, and computational techniques of modern materials science. The program aims to prepare highly knowledgeable and skilled graduates, who will be trained as materials physicists and can work as independent workers or in collaboration with others, to fill jobs in industry, government agencies, research institutes and universities worldwide. The program includes an intensive English preparation program.

  • September (Fall)

Duration:

  • Course-based – 4 terms (16 months)
  • Major Research Paper (MRP) – 6 terms (24 months)

*Please note* Successful applicants are automatically admitted to the course-based stream of the program.
Admission to the MRP is on a competitive basis and is only available after completion of the first three terms of the course-based program.

  3. You will need to submit your transcripts as well as the following program-specific materials:
    • Resume
    • GRE is recommended but not required
    • Two references are required
