Graduate Micro-Programs in Public Health

Program options:

  • Health Information Management
  • Infection Prevention and Control (postponed until fall 2025)

Type/Duration:

  • Online (asynchronous and synchronous), part-time, course-based
  • Three half credits to complete the program (courses to take are outlined in the Graduate Calendar)
  • Maximum of one course per term (program can be completed in as little as one year or three terms)

  • Application fee: $55 (non-refundable)
  • Program fees: $900 per half-credit course (2024 rate – subject to change)

Admission requirements

  • Master's program requirements with a minimum 80% average over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study. Students who do not meet these requirements may be considered if they can demonstrate equivalent competencies. This may include, but is not limited to:
    • a three-year diploma or degree coupled with relevant work experience (usually 3 to 5+ years),
    • significant and related professional experience (usually 5+ years), or
    • substantial and relevant learning and skills development.

    • academic transcripts (from all previously completed and in progress post-secondary studies)
    • Curriculum Vitae/resume detailing educational background and professional experience
    • Letter of intent (500 words max.) describing relevant educational, professional and/or leadership experiences
