Brock Sports and Niagara Police to announce new community initiative

Brock Sports and the Niagara Regional Police Service will announce a new community partnership on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 10:30 a.m. in the Walker Sports Complex.
 
Brock University has 42 sports teams and 800 student-athletes while the Niagara Regional Police has 700 officers serving Niagara.
 
For the past decade, the two community leaders have partnered on numerous community initiatives, highlighted by the IMPACT Program. Many Brock student-athlete graduates have also gone on to become police officers with the NRPS.
 
Speaking at Tuesday’s announcement will be representatives from Brock University, Brock Sports and Niagara Regional Police Service, as well as current athletes and former athletes now working with the NRPS.
