Ryan Hallam, a PhD student in Neuroscience at Brock University, is making exciting progress in understanding how Alzheimer’s disease develops. Using a new technique to watch how certain brain-related proteins behave inside living cells, his research could help scientists find better ways to treat or even prevent the disease. Supported by the Alzheimer Society and guided by Dr. Aleksandar Necakov, Hallam’s work is a big step forward in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
