  • Brock and IATSE ratify agreement

    Brock University and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada (IATSE), Local 461 have ratified a renewed collective agreement.

    The agreement was ratified by IATSE members on Aug. 26, and by the University’s Board of Trustees on Sept. 8. The agreement was reached collaboratively and directly between the parties, without the assistance of a third-party mediator or conciliator.

    The renewed collective agreement is in effect from June 6, 2026, to June 5, 2029.

    A copy of the renewed agreement will be available on the University’s website shortly.

  • Tentative agreement reached with IATSE

    Brock University reached a tentative agreement with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada (IATSE), Local 461 on Aug. 21.

    IATSE represents theatre technicians, head of wardrobe, technical director, theatre technical production assistant, production runners, stagehands and wardrobe assistants.

    The agreement remains subject to ratification by both the union membership and Brock’s Board of Trustees. Further updates will be provided once the ratification process is complete.

  • Renewal collective agreement with IATSE ratified

    On Nov. 4, 2020, the tentative agreement reached between Brock University and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada, Local 461 (IATSE) was ratified.

    IATSE represents Theatre Technicians, Head of Wardrobe, Head of Theatre Construction, Technical Director, Stagehands and Wardrobe Assistants at Brock University.

    The three-year agreement is in effect from June 6, 2020 to June 5, 2023.
