Tan’si colleagues! Kinanâskomitino’wo’w.
I’m excited to announce the next step in Brock University’s Indigenous Strategic Plan process: creating the Indigenous Strategic Plan Advisory Committee (ISPAC)!
The ISPAC will lead the process of drafting the Indigenous Strategic Plan. The terms of reference for the committee were drafted collaboratively by Dr. Robyn Bourgeois, Vice-Provost, Indigenous Engagement; Elder Anauta Cindy Biancaniello, Director, Hadiyaˀdagénhahs First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre; and Dr. Sheila Cote-Meek, Director, Indigenous Educational Studies.
Membership on this committee is open to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students, staff, and faculty at Brock University.
Apply to ISPAC. Applications are due by Monday, 3 February 2025.
Please note: ISPAC meetings are scheduled for 1-3 pm on the last day Wednesday of the month between February and June, except April, when the meeting will be held on the 23rd. The first meeting will be in person, with subsequent formats determined at that meeting.
