The fundamental principle of our research is to empower youth so that they have a brighter future. Many young people experience bullying, a form of aggressive behaviour that can be physical, verbal, psychological, emotional, and/or cyber used to hurt another person with less power.
Why are some youth bullied? What happens to youth who are bullied? How do friends, families, schools, communities, and cultures impact bullying? These are only some of the questions we examine in our research.
By answering these questions, we aim to help empower youth to build positive relationships and experience healthy outcomes.
