The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides eligible students with a mix of grants (money you don’t need to repay) and loans to help cover the costs of post-secondary education. OSAP funding can help pay for tuition, books, living expenses, and transportation. If you receive OSAP funding, your loans and grants are administered through the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC). Students can also talk to their banks to discuss other loan options, such as student lines of credit.
For more information about OSAP or other student loan options, visit the Student Awards and Financial Aid (SAFA) website.
