The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, May 4 and Friday, May 8.

Master of Arts in Psychology thesis defence

Ariel Dennison-Hardy, a Master of Arts in Psychology candidate, will defend the thesis “Adults’ identification of grooming behaviours and intentions to report” on Monday, May 4 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

Shae Stokes, a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Equity Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Effective Altruism on Animal Activism – A Site of Ableism and Neoliberal Co-optation of Neurodivergence” on Wednesday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to noon in virtual format.

Master of Arts in Applied Disabilities Studies thesis defence     

Yazdani Najafabadi Faezeh, a Master of Arts in Applied Disabilities Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Evaluating Virtual Reality-Based Behavioral Skills Training to Teach Lag Schedule of Reinforcement Implementation for Food Selectivity” on Thursday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to noon in WH 147.

Belicia Recinos Athanasas, a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Equity Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Resplendent Resilience: A Reflexive Transnational Photovoice Approach in Understanding Mixed Mayan Roots” on Friday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to noon in virtual format.
