Students, employees invited to shape EDID action plan

Brock students, faculty and staff are invited to share their feedback on a new plan designed to advance equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonization (EDID) on campus.

The EDID Action Plan builds on recommendations outlined in the 2017 Human Rights Task Force Report, the 2023 MNP Employment Equity Strategy and contributions from PACHRED working groups.

Insights and recommendations from students and employees will help ensure the final plan is responsive, collaborative and reflective of the diverse experiences and needs within the Brock community.

A series of group consultations will be held over the coming months to collect community feedback:

  • Wednesday, May  27 from 10:30 a.m. to noon (in person)
  • Monday, June 1 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (virtual)
  • Tuesday, June 9 from noon to 1:30 p.m. (in person)
  • Thursday, July 9 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. (virtual)

Anyone interested in attending one of the group sessions is asked to register online in advance.

The Human Rights and Equity Office is also available to host individual, small group, departmental or Faculty consultations throughout May, June and July, either in person or virtually. Please send an email to [email protected] to schedule a consultation.
