Hosted by the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce, the event gathered more than 200 community partners to explore topics such as workplace transformation, building a resilient local economy, leveraging financing and funding opportunities, and aligning business goals with national priorities.
The day featured breakout sessions, a networking lunch, a trade show and a panel discussion on what happens to human employees when artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes the workplace. Moderated by Brock President and Vice-Chancellor Lesley Rigg, the panel included Daniel Lirette, Founder and CEO of Flora Track AI; Kate Agar, Manager of Newcomer Programs at Niagara College; and Rahul Kumar, Assistant Professor of Educational Studies at Brock.
