Master of Arts in Critical Sociology thesis defence

Miriam Nowling, a Master of Arts in Critical Sociology candidate, will defend the thesis “An Exploration into the Criminalization of Indigenous Men in Canada: CCDA through Hubbard’s Documentaries” on Friday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon in PLZ 600F.

Master of Science in Biological Sciences thesis defence

Jacob Wiebe, a Master of Science in Biological Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Physiological Oxygen and Media Conditions Influence Breast Cancer Hallmarks in Vitro” on Monday, Jan. 19 at 9:45 a.m. in PLZ 601C.

Master of Science in Physics thesis defence

Rachit Kapoor, a Master of Science in Physics candidate, will defend the thesis “Quantum Magnetism Under Disorder: A Study of the Bismuth Rare-Earth Germanates” on Monday, Jan. 19 at 11:30 a.m. in PLZ 600F.

Master of Science in Biological Sciences thesis defence

Chanille Ubias, a Master of Science in Biological Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Investigating the Post-Translational Modification of Notch1 Intracellular Domain: From Proteolytic Cleavage to Mass Spectrometric Profiling” on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in PLZ 601C.

Master of Science in Chemistry thesis defence

Donya Shahmoradi, a Master of Science in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis “Conjugation of oligonucleotides for drug delivery via a linker derived from Meldrum’s acid and A capture-release method to synthesize long oligonucleotides” on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

Madelyn Walsh, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Post-Injury Anxiety and PTSD Symptoms in University Athletes following a Substantial Injury: Looking at Lower Body Injuries and Concussions” on Friday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
