Master of ​Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

McKenna Faragher, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Age-Related Difference in Maximal Strength, Muscle Fatigue and Recovery: Association with Motor Unit Activation Patterns” on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in STH 361.

Md. Sirajum Munir Prince, a Master of Science in Computer Science candidate, will defend the thesis “High-Order Graph Neural Networks and Contrastive Meta-Learning for Few-Shot Node Classification” on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. in virtual format.

Master of Science in Biotechnology thesis defence

Jennifer Kujani, a Master of Science candidate in the Centre for Biotechnology, will defend the thesis “A Study of Lipid-Protein Binding Assays With α-Tocopherol Transfer Protein Using Surface Plasmon Resonance” on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 1 p.m. in TH 253.

PhD in Biological Sciences thesis defence

Ryan Douglas Hallam, PhD in Biological Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Investigating β- and γ-secretase function and processing of APP with genetic and pharmacological tools” on Friday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. in CRN 207.
