Kevin Magee (BA ’14), Global Director of Cybersecurity, Microsoft for Startups, is among Brock’s Alumni Brilliance award recipients.
In honour of the University’s 60th anniversary, the Alumni Brilliance Award recognizes graduates who have made significant contributions to their fields and communities over the past 60 years.
History graduate Kevin Magee (BA ’14), an expert on cybersecurity, cybercrime and cyber risk governance, plays a pivotal role in protecting digital landscapes. As Global Director of Cybersecurity, Microsoft for Startups, Magee helps budding companies navigate an increasingly complex security environment.
A dedicated member of the Brock community, he currently serves on Brock’s Board or Trustees and has shared industry insights with current students.
The community Mike Pilato (BAcc ’98) found at Brock helped him carve out a successful business career. Since graduating, he has worked with global companies such as Playtex Products, Kraft Foods and the Clorox Company.
As President and CEO of Jamieson Wellness, he champions a collaborative corporate culture inspired in part by his experiences at the University.

Rhonda Klosler (BBA ’93), Chief Operating Officer at RSM Canada LLP, is among Brock’s Alumni Brilliance award recipients.
Pilato, who received the 2021 Brock University Alumni Association (BUAA) Distinguished Alumni Award, also strives to give back to Brock through events that allow him to share his expertise with students.
Like Pilato, Rhonda Klosler’s (BBA ’93) career has taken her from small-town roots to boardroom triumphs.
Klosler started her professional journey as an intern while at Brock. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at RSM Canada LLP and her strategic leadership has helped to grow the firm into an accounting and consulting powerhouse.
Her time at the University has profoundly shaped her career and her life. An engaged graduate, she has shared her wisdom as a speaker and became an honorary members of the Brock’s Beta Gamma Sigma chapter in 2017. She received the Goodman Distinguished Graduate Award in 2023.

Meghan Chayka (BBA ’12), co-founder of Stathletes, is among Brock’s Alumni Brilliance award recipients.
Fellow Goodman grad Meghan Chayka (BBA ’12) — a passionate advocate for women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields — was recognized as one of the most influential women in Canadian sports in 2021.
Chayka channeled her interest in science and finance into sports analytics. As co-founder of Stathletes, which has worked with many National Hockey League teams and other leagues around the world.
