From the opening ceremony in the Rankin Family Pavilion Atrium to the day’s closing remarks, the event offered participants a chance to unwind and explore. Employees selected from nearly 90 on- and off-campus activities designed to promote physical and mental wellness.

Returning favourites such as visits to The Watering Can, Brock Golf Course and the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) were joined by new experiences including birdwatching, fishing and art collection tours.

Lisa Peso, Manager, Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre, was recognized as this year’s Health, Safety and Wellness Champion by James Iseghayan, Director, Health, Safety and Wellness during the closing ceremonies of Brock’s annual Wellness Day on Monday, June 23.

One of the day’s highlights was the Wellness Day Barbecue and 60th Anniversary Social, co-hosted by the President’s Office. The event brought colleagues together over a shared meal in celebration of both Wellness Day and Brock’s milestone anniversary.

During the closing ceremony, Lisa Peso, Manager, Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre, was recognized as this year’s Health, Safety and Wellness Champion.

Organized by the University’s Health, Safety and Wellness team, the event continues to support a culture of care at Brock, with feedback from participants helping to shape future Wellness Days.
