Thesis defences — March 31 to April 4

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, March 31 and Friday, April 4.

Master of ​Arts in Applied Health Sciences (Sport Management) thesis defence

Griffin Herrington, a Master of ​Arts in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Assets and Obstacles: An Analysis of Ontario Preparatory School Hockey from the Coaches’ Perspective” on Tuesday, April 1 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in STH 361.

The examination committee includes Phil Sullivan, Chair; Chris Chard, Supervisor; Jon Edwards, External Examiner (University of New Brunswick); and Nick Burton and Mike VanBussel, Committee Members.

Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence    

Lulu Larcenciel, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Autistic Youth Experiences of Coerced Assimilation in the Context of Enforced ‘Social Skills’ Practice: A mixed-methods and multi-phase participatory research project” on Wednesday, April 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in hybrid format in PLZ 600F and online.
