Thesis defences — March 3 to March 7

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, March 3 and Friday, March 7.

Master of ​Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

Dawson Kays, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Red Rooibos to Support Bone Mineral Density in Ovariectomized Sprague-Dawley Rats Fed a Control Diet or a Diet Low in Calcium and Vitamin D” on Thursday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in CRN 427.

The examination committee includes Stephen Klassen, Chair; Wendy Ward, Supervisor; Jim Willwerth, External Examiner (Brock University); and William Gittings and Vaughn Mangal, Committee Members.

Master of ​Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

Hina Ticknor, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Thermoregulation differences during heat stress between children and adults – a systematic review” on Friday, March 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in WC 204.
