With Brock’s administrative offices closing for the holiday break, access to all University facilities will be limited from the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 24 to the morning of Thursday, Jan. 2.
All exterior doors to University buildings on the main campus, including East Campus, Burlington Campus and Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, will be secured at 10 p.m. on Dec. 24 and remain locked until 6 a.m. on Jan. 2.
Members of the Brock community will still be able to enter the University via the Rankin Family Pavilion (RFP), which will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and staffed by Campus Safety Services. Photo ID will be required. Anyone entering the University is also asked to sign out via the Rankin Family Pavilion or call Campus Safety at 905-688-5550 x4300 when leaving campus.
All staff, faculty, students and visitors wishing to use the Walker Sports Complex during the closure must sign in at the Rankin Family Pavilion and enter the Walker Complex via the doors adjacent the tennis courts.
Anyone needing to enter the University outside of these times is asked to contact Campus Safety Services at 905-688-5550 x4300 when they arrive on campus. A Brock ID card will be required to confirm and permit access to the respective building.
Proxy card/swipe access will remain unaffected for those who have it for buildings with proxy card access. Faculty members and staff requiring proxy card access will need to arrange for it through their department and Facilities Management.
During the holiday closure, all Brock students can receive 24-7 crisis counselling by calling 1-833-276-2533 (1-833-BROCK33) in North American and can call 001 416 382 3257. Additional crisis resources can be found on the SWAC website.
