With the Fall Term winding down, Parking Services is sharing parking information the Brock community should keep in mind while preparing for the holiday break and next semester.
Here’s what drivers need to know about parking on campus in the new year:
- Complimentary evening parking in Lot 2 will end on Tuesday, Dec. 24. When the University reopens on Thursday, Jan. 2, a permit or paid parking via the HONK app will be required in all lots from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- Winter Term parking permits will go on sale Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through the online parking portal. Annual and winter permits include evening parking in their designated lot.
- Anyone parking on campus must ensure their license plate is fully visible and free of snow, ice and dirt.
- Effective Tuesday, April 1, 2025, a permit or paid parking via the HONK app will be required for spring and summer parking from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Annual permits for 2024/25 include spring and summer parking in their designated lot.
- Spring/Summer permits will be available for purchase in early spring and daily parking rates will be available in the HONK app.
Anyone who is unsure which parking option to choose is encouraged to reach out to the Parking Services team who can work with drivers to identify the parking option that best fits their needs, schedule and budget.
