Dear Badgers,

The beginning of the Fall Term is a time of great excitement and energy. We are so excited to welcome you back to campus and to welcome new members of the Brock family.

I was thrilled to take part in Move-in Weekend again this year and to experience the enthusiasm and energy of Brock students first-hand.

As you return to the classroom this week, know that Brock is deeply committed to fostering a safe, equitable and inclusive environment in which everyone is welcome and can thrive.

As an institution dedicated to the pursuit and sharing of knowledge, we embrace civil and constructive critical dialogue. We recognize that academic discourse is strengthened by reasonable discussion from many perspectives – indeed, universities cannot function without the free and respectful exchange of ideas.

We also have a long tradition here of looking after each other and championing one another. We know that we can accomplish so much more when we work together.
