Brock Dining Services is inviting students, staff and faculty to enjoy free samples and entertainment at its upcoming tasting event on Tuesday, Oct. 1 in Market Hall.
From noon to 3 p.m., members of the campus community can try menu items from popular brands, such as El Torito and Grille Works, as well as Market Eatery’s two newest brands, Footlong and Chopsticks. Vegetarian, gluten-free and Halal options will be available.
“Our goal is to showcase the diversity of menu options offered in Market,” says Malcolm Dales, Director of Dining and Conference Services. “We refreshed Market Eatery over the summer and made changes based on feedback we’d received. Now we want to give the Brock community the opportunity to try some of the new menu offerings and reintroduce them to old favourites.”
The event, which will feature a DJ and giveaways, also celebrates the opening of Market Eatery’s two newest brands: Footlong, a sub station that opened on Sept. 3, and Chopsticks, an Asian-inspired stir-fry station that opened on Monday, Sept. 23.
