Brock barbecue promotes mental health awareness

More than 200 Brock employees participated in the annual barbecue luncheon for Mental Health Week on Tuesday, May 7.

Brock’s Health Management and Wellness team hosted the event in partnership with Aramark Canada, with a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold to the Canadian Mental Health Association — Niagara branch.

The lunch is part of a broader calendar of events intended to promote relaxation and encourage employees to connect with each other. Employees are also being encouraged to share random acts of kindness notes on the chalkboard wall across from the Brock Card office in Thistle Complex.
