Applications close next week to study abroad in Thailand this winter

Students interested in completing the Winter 2024 term abroad in Thailand through Brock’s Department of Geography and Tourism Studies still have time to apply before the deadline of Thursday, Oct. 5.

Participating students will travel to Thailand from January to May 2024 and can earn 2.5 Brock credits in courses taught in English at Burapha University International College. Students in the program are eligible for both OSAP and Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) funding. While designed for third-year students, the experience is open to students in other years and in all majors.

Over the course of the semester, students will visit all major regions of Thailand and several major metropolitan centres, including Bangkok. This session also includes a new opportunity to take a one-week mid-term tour in Singapore. Brock students have been travelling with Associate Professor David Brown to Thailand since 2006.

Interested students can review an information session with more details and apply online before Thursday, Oct. 5. Late applications will be considered only if space is still available.
