Brock University’s administrative offices will be closed for the Civic Holiday weekend from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7.

The following is a list of campus services that are open and closed during that time:

Campus Safety Services
Officers are available 24-7 by phoning 905-688-5550 x3200, via emergency phones on campus, by emailing security@brocku.ca or through the Brock Mobile App.   

James A. Gibson Library
Closed: Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7

Walker Complex/The Zone
Closed: Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7

Campus Store and Parking Services Office
Closed: Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7
The online store continues to be open 24-7.

Dining Services
All Brock Dining Services locations will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7.

Brock University Students’ Union
All Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) businesses and BUSU’s reception desk will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7.

Graduate Students’ Association
The Graduate Students’ Association office will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7.

IT Help Desk in Computer Commons
Open: Saturday, Aug. 5 and Sunday, Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed: Monday, Aug. 7

Student Health Services
Student Health Services will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7.

Personal Counselling Services
Personal Counselling Services will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 7.

Students can receive urgent/crisis 24-7 telephone counselling by calling 1-833-276-2533 (1-833-BROCK33) or students who are outside of North America can call 001 416 382 3257 for 24-7 telephone support every day of the year.

Students in need of mental health supports can also access counselling and resources no matter the time of day through the My SSP mobile app, which offers text and chat support and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
