The following is a list of thesis defences taking place from Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 5.

PhD in Chemistry thesis defence

Joshua Clarke, a PhD in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis “Transition metal-free hydrosilylation and hydroboration of unsaturated carbon-heteroatom bonds” on Monday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

PhD in Applied Health Sciences thesis defence

Matthew Marini, a PhD in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Uncovering the Psychological and Physiological Factors that Influence Performance and Choking Under Pressure” on Tuesday, May 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

Renata Roma, a PhD in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Young People’s Well-Being and their Relationships with their Dogs: Exploring the Role of Perceived Human-Dog Personality Matching and Attachment” on Tuesday, May 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. in virtual format.

Aayush Sharma Giri, a Master of Science in Management candidate, will defend the thesis “E-Commerce Supply Chain Risk Mitigation and Online Sales Performance” on Tuesday, May 2 at 3 p.m. in virtual format.

Master of Science in Management (Accounting Stream) thesis defence

Oussema El Ajel, a Master of Science in Management candidate, will defend the thesis “Can We Speak Sustainability into Existence? Shareholder Engagement and Corporate Innovation Strategy” on Thursday, May 4, at 9 a.m. in virtual format.
