Brock Employee Wellness Day returns June 20

After a three-year hiatus, the highly anticipated 21st annual Employee Wellness Day is returning Tuesday, June 20 with a combination of on- and off-campus activities.

“Wellness Day is a favourite event among Brock employees. Whether you participated in the past or are new to the event, the day promises something special for everyone,” says Martina Ciglenecki, Manager, Health Management and Wellness.

To ensure a variety of experiences are available, the organizing committee is seeking workshop facilitators and presenters to share their expertise.

“Historically, the full day of programming has seen almost 500 employees participate, which is why it is very important to offer a variety of workshops,” says Ciglenecki. “We all experience wellness in different ways, and we want to ensure there is something for everyone.”

To become a presenter, please visit the Wellness Day site and complete the Speaker Sheet by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 5.

Returning this year is also the Penny Sale, which raises funds for student awards, the announcement of the Health, Safety and Wellness Champion, and a complimentary lunch for those who register for two or more events.

For information about making a Penny Sale donation email wellnessday@brocku.ca

This event will be open to all part-time and full-time Brock employees regardless of benefit eligibility. More information about registration, the keynote speaker and the itinerary will be announced soon.
