Vote for GRADflix People’s Choice Award until Feb. 22

Graduate students are competing for the community’s vote with their creative 60-second videos in the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ 2023 GRADflix competition.

Voting is open to community members until Wednesday, Feb. 22 for the People’s Choice Award portion of the competition, which saw students share their research in the short videos.

Nine students submitted entries in a bid to win one of four cash prizes. First-, second- and third-place winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, while the People’s Choice Award will be presented to the student researcher whose video received the most votes online.

The public can view all videos and vote for the People’s Choice Award through the GRADflix web page. Only one vote per email address will be counted.

Winners will be announced Monday, Feb. 27 at noon online and showcased at the Mapping the New Knowledges Research conference on Wednesday, April 12.
