Various units at Brock University will experience closures and varying hours for the Labour Day holiday weekend from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Move-in Weekend at Brock’s on-campus residences will take place Saturday and Sunday. If driving onto campus, please be prepared for delays as there may be lines of slow-moving vehicles on roads leading to residence buildings. Parking lots beside residence buildings are being used for unloading only and will be unavailable for parking. People visiting the University for other purposes are asked to park in Zone 1.

Officers are available 24-7 by phoning 905-688-5550 x3200, via emergency phones on campus, by emailing security@brocku.ca or through the Brock Mobile App.    

Administrative offices
Brock University’s administrative offices will be closed for the Labour Day long weekend from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Brock Library 
The Library will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Campus Store and Parking Services
The Brock Campus Store and Parking Services will be open Saturday, Sept. 3, Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Brock Card Office
The Brock Card Office will be open Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday Sept. 4 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Monday Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Walker Complex/The Zone
Open: Saturday, Sept. 3, Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dining Services
All Brock Dining Services locations will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5 with several exceptions:

Fresh Food Company in Lowenberger and DeCew dining halls
Open Saturday, Sept.3 from 4 to 10 p.m. as well as Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Hungry Badger Tim Hortons
Open Saturday, Sept. 3, Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Starbucks
Open Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Brock University Students’ Union
All Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) businesses and BUSU’s reception desk will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Brock Graduate Students’ Association 
The Brock Graduate Students’ Association business office will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Student Health Services
Student Health Services will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Personal Counselling Services
Personal Counselling Services will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 3 to Monday, Sept. 5.

Students can receive urgent/crisis 24-7 telephone counselling by calling 1-833-276-2533 (1-833-BROCK33) or students who are outside of North America can call 001 416 382 3257 for 24-7 telephone support every day of the year.

Students in need of mental health supports can also access counselling and resources no matter the time of day through the My SSP mobile app, which offers text and chat support and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
