Brock University’s administrative offices will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday weekend from Saturday, May 21 to Monday, May 23.
However, some key areas of the University will remain open.
The following is a list of campus services that are open and closed on the Victoria Day holiday weekend:
Campus Security Services
Officers are available 24-7 by phoning 905-688-5550 x3200, via emergency phones on campus, by emailing security@brocku.ca or through the Brock Mobile App.
Access to campus
As part of Brock’s COVID-19 vaccine policy, a vaccine mandate is in effect for all individuals involved in any in-person activities on campus. This includes all faculty, staff and students, as well as all visitors and guests coming onto any Brock campus or site.

James A. Gibson Library
Open: Saturday, May 21 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Closed: Sunday, May 22 and Monday, May 23
Campus Store
The Brock Campus Store will be closed from Saturday, May 21 to Monday, May 23. The online store continues to be open 24-7. The Campus Store’s regular hours of operation throughout the rest of the summer will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Walker Complex/The Zone
Open: Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from noon to 5 p.m.
Closed: Monday, May 23
Dining Services
All Brock Dining Services locations will be closed from Saturday, May 21 to Monday May 23.
Brock University Students’ Union
All Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) businesses and BUSU’s reception desk will be closed from Saturday, May 21 to Monday, May 23.
Student Health Services
Student Health Services will be closed from Saturday, May 21 to Monday, May 23
Personal Counselling Services
Personal Counselling Services will be closed from Saturday, May 21 to Monday, May 23.
Students can receive urgent/crisis 24-7 telephone counselling by calling 1-833-276-2533 (1-833-BROCK33) or students who are outside of North America can call 001 416 382 3257 for 24-7 telephone support every day of the year.
Students in need of mental health supports can also access counselling and resources no matter the time of day through the My SSP mobile app, which offers text and chat support and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
