With the review of Brock’s Sexual Assault and Harassment Policy (SAHP) underway, the University is seeking feedback on the policy and its procedures from Brock students, staff, faculty members and librarians.
The SAHP consultation process, which runs until Friday, May 13, includes an online consultation portal, through which members of the University community can submit their feedback.
For those who prefer to submit comments on the policy in person, the University will be hosting a series of consultation sessions. Separate sessions will be held for undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members and librarians, and staff, and will each be capped at 10 participants.
Those wishing to participate in these consultation sessions should submit their name to president@brocku.ca and identify as an undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty member or librarian, or staff member. Submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6.
In cases where community members belong to more than one of these groups, please identify the group whose consultation session you would like to participate in.
The sessions will be scheduled after April 6, with times selected to accommodate as many individuals as possible.
These consultation sessions will focus on the policy and procedure documents. Participants are asked to come to the event having reviewed the policy and with feedback to provide on the document.
Any questions or comments about the policy review and consultation process can be sent to president@brocku.ca
